Which DVDTalkers Do You Miss?

Obviously the forum isn't the hotbed of activity that it once was. It seems as if every time I go to a thread that has been bumped or started some time ago, I see names of folks who aren't around anymore. Sometimes the reasons are obvious--they've expressed discontent and moved on or found themselves on the receiving end of administrative action. There always seems to be a greater number of people who just stop posting and no one notices for days, weeks or months.

So who do you miss and why?

Buttmunker, Danol, and some of the circa year-2000 posters who were here just because DVDs were "cool" at the time.

Re: Which DVDTalkers Do You Miss?

Technically we're not supposed to talk about them cuz it's like bad juju or so some shit. Well the banned ones. Cuz I dunno why? why can't we name drop the banned people? I can't even remember their names except for that chris guy. Crazychris something and chrissc something. I can't remember... anyway I think it was teh same piece of shit. A movie isn't a movie unless it's Rated R, live action, and over 2 hours long. Some bullshit like that. What a piece of shit that fucker was.

Did he have a fetch contest with a puppy and it died?

Sometimes I miss Keyser's bar. I saw a story recently about a parrot that returned home after being lost for years and it now spoke Spanish. Just reminded me of when he lost his parrot.

And das monkey....

Re: Which DVDTalkers Do You Miss?

danol and his dumpster diving. He died.

I think SeekingZen is dead too. He created a thread asking if it was okay for him to walk around in public in Arizona with a machete. It was hilariously idiotic. Then a few weeks later there was a news report that someone in Arizona was walking around with a machete, and the police shot and killed him. I don't know if that was actually SeekingZen, but according to his statistics page he hasn't logged on since before that shooting.

Re: Which DVDTalkers Do You Miss?

The guy in my signature. He always said cool stuff. I think I saw a fairly recent post from him, but he'd been off the face of the earth (or forum) for a year or two, I think.

There was one dude whose name I can't recall...his wife was also a member. They'd posted a nekkid pic or two of her in the Adult forum. I think I miss her, too.

Re: Which DVDTalkers Do You Miss?

Others may have a different opinion, but I am okay with keeping the thread open.

However, we don't allow discussion of banned members because they have no ability to defend themselves, if needed, and it has previously encouraged them to sign up under a different account. Please try to be cognizant of this forum rule.

Thank you.

Some of the best times at this site were College Football game day threads.

Speaking of which, how did you like last Saturday's game?
