chase.com down?

www.chase.com

http://www.isitdownrightnow.com/chase.com.html

Been down for last couple of days for me. However, it works fine if I use the Tor Browser from France - not signing in that way.

Would like to know if I should be blaming Chase or my ISP Brighthouse/Time Warner. Every other website is working. So maybe it is a denial of service attack?

Re: chase.com down?

Works for me on Firefox. The site even wished me a happy birthday (which is odd since my b-day is a week away )

Because it sounds good on the internet.

That being said, just typing in www.chase.com didn't work for me, but https://www.chase.com/ did work in Firefox. Chase might be updating some SSL stuff with the new Poodle exploit that is out there. It could also be that your browser is allowing SSL3, so it's not letting you to the site.

Explains why I received several phone calls about "fraudulent activity" when I went to various grocery stores, hardware stores, and online shopping yesterday. I would imagine some people are having their cards declined when checking out, which would kinda suck.

Re: chase.com down?

Still down. Ridiculous. Good thing I don't have bills to pay now. I checked the encryption settings and doesn't seem to be that, doesn't work in any browser and neither did https. It just seems to be a network thing that probably won't be fixed until laster this week.

Why? Like Vin Vega said ... They are financing exploitative poodle porn on the SSL (super secret lowdown).

And it sounds good on the internet because they are a soulless evil mega bank.

Re: chase.com down?

JP Morgan Chase was hacked.
Not A fan of big banks.
Found Better CS and less fees(no fees) at smaller local banks or credit unions.

Also I know Home Depot and Target also got hack this year.I'm sure many others too.

Groucho, we know you only use https for explicit web browsing!

Re: chase.com down?

Well, it's down again. Was working for a minute earlier today.

chaseonline.chase.com does work, though, but logging in will just go to a blank page.
