Sacto could use some more Italian places (not just wood fire pizza places, there are enough of those now).
There is a okay place up off West El Camino by Northgate. Its in a strip mall next to a check cashing place and liquor store (not the best area) but its cheap for how much you get and pretty good tasting. I think its called Anthonys. I've gotten take out from there a few times with no complaints. The Italian Deli down on J street between 18th and 19th has good lunch specials. the meatball sandwich they have (or at least had, its been a while since i've been there) is amazing.

Anyone in Chicago who goes to Olive Garden isn't looking hard enough for good Italian.

Where is it?

I had no idea there weren't any in the city but I guess it makes sense. I remember the one in Burbank opening across from Ford City that's just about as good as being in the city, at least the south side.

It's on Addison, just east of the Kennedy. There was already a K-Mart there, so it will fit right in.

I'm on the north side, so if I ever wanted to go to an Olive Garden (spoiler alert: I never did), I could go to the one in Lincolnwood, which is basically Touhy and Kedzie.

That makes sense. I imagine there will be quite a line of clueless people waiting for tables there.

I met a woman named Olive Garden in Times Square back in the 80s.

Re: Olive Garden Never Ending Pasta Pass

John Oliver did a nice piece on the corruption behind that hedgefund's scathing review of OG...

http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=qJxnAR8Vs0I

Dang...looks like that vid cuts out the end part, where he explains how the hedge fund stands to profit quite a bit from destroying OG. Of course, that doesn't mean the complaints they outline in the report aren't true...

Were you consistently disappointed in their food, and did you visit their pot museum, which doesn't have the kind of pot you're thinking of?

I think Maggiano's is real good for a chain restaurant. I'm sure people here would shit on it, though.

I used to like Olive Garden in the 90s, but I don't care for it anymore. I think they've started using cheaper ingredients or something has been fucked up over the years to save money.

Well, not everybody who bought this card is a horrific glutton. Here's a guy that used it to feed the homeless:

Employees of the Downtown Salt Lake City Olive Garden said Matt Tribe can go fuck himself.

I can't believe this guy.

I also can't believe that Olive Garden is letting him get away with this shit.

Countdown to having his pass revoked or that Olive Garden having to shutdown because of this dbag begins....now!

The pass is expired and Olive Garden wouldn't risk the bad publicity for $25 worth of pasta given away to a few homeless people.
