Excited about Autumn, in total denial about Winter.

Winters in Texas can suck. What one could call snow here is really just ice falling down to fuck up the roads. We rarely have the actual snow type of snow. Winter here sucked. It fucked up so much here.

I'm relatively new to living in Georgia, but I think we have similar types of winters. The ice storms we got earlier in the year were absolutely horrible. Much worse than any blizzard in the Northeast. And you don't even get the positives of a "real" winter storm, like sledding and snowballs.

Where the hell is it snowing already? I wouldn't mind some reasonable autumn weather, since the 90+ degree days are getting old.

Must be nice. It rained for about 10 minutes here in L.A. now it's 90 degrees.

Fuck your snow!

Would you feel better to know we mean above 0 F? That's -17.8 C, I mean that's not really cold, but it is at least chilly.

Only time I should sweat in bed is when I bang. Not while in a deep sleep.
I remember a time I used to use blankets. I really hope some freak cold spell comes in this Winter.

Re: Fear the Winterpocalypse -- Snow Season ('14-'15)

Yep... The heat is getting ridiculous again. Nights don't cool to less than 80 degrees inside the house by the morning, and both sheets and clothing are but a distant memory to me inside my abode. Can't wait for 'winter' but it'll probably be like last winter and last two weeks!

You folks with Snow in Sept -- I'm indeed wishing I was in your environs right now. Yeah, I know, 'the grass is always greener' but I'd actually love to shovel some snow right now!

10 cm is only 3.9 inches, not "almost a foot", sorry to disillusion you.

Yeah, it wasn't a terribly hot summer here but I always cheer for the next season once I'm half-way through the current one.

Winter must be coming, I saw Christmas decorations at the store three weeks ago.
