Re: Mountain Dew says it's time...
I've been meaning to bump the thread so thanks for doing it for me.
The first Target I checked had a big blank spot for Baja Blast, but I got some at Safeway, and then saw it everywhere. It's good, but somehow seems better in the restaurant. Maybe it's the forbidden-citrus factor, or maybe it's relative to the food at Taco Bell.
I usually drink soda out of the can at home, but maybe I should try this on the rocks.
So it's fine. I'm glad I tried it and have it, but it's not as exciting as I expected. I might get it in the future if it's still available and I've gotten through my current stock.

I am surprised you could still find it, I found some 20oz bottles at a gas station at the end of the summer and they were marked down and expired. I guess its back to getting Baja blast at taco bell. I will try both of those new flavors they sound good.

I saw it twice total. Once in 20 oz. bottles hidden in the back of a cooler at Safeway, and once at my school's bookstore. They never got it in 12 packs here.
I'll try both new Game Fuel flavors.
Also, the Supernova flavor at 7-11 tastes like Mtn Dew Typhoon from 2010. I thought it was good, but like others have said, nothing rivals Code Red.

Baja only lasted about a month here. Checked at dozens of stores & gas stations in early July. Nada. Even bumped into a Pepsi guy at one grocery store and asked him. He said the warehouse was dry. Then one day I hit a grocery store I don't normally go to and boom, found some. They had 7 12-packs. When I left they had 0.
Still have about 5 dozen.

Is the can mixture different than the plastic bottle one? Bought afew of the 20oz cans and they tasted a bit different than the plastic bottled BB. For the better.

I don't know if has to do with the pressurization process, but anything out of a can always tastes better than its bottled counterpart.

Picked up a bottle of the Lemonade Game Fuel Mountain Dew tonight and think its just okay. It tastes kind of like the canned Country Made Lemonade to me only with more carbonation and its a bit less sour. Overall I'm not sure if I'd go out of my way to get it again. Still have to try the Citrus Cherry Game Fuel.

The lemonade is awful. The Cherry citrus just doesn't really have a pronounced flavor. Kind of like how baja blast is if it's watered-down from Taco Bell.

I've only seen the Citrus Cherry at one gas station. It tasted like a cross between Mtn Dew and Ruby Red Squirt. It was alright. I still haven't found the lemonade one.
I wish they would've bright back Pitch Black this year for Hallowen instead.

Why not just eat a bag of Doritos and wash it down with some regular Dew?

Ate at TB the other day and again liked the "fresh" version better. Might just be psychological.
