Yeah, definitely a cut or crack... not scratches

So buy it new if you want it in new condition?

Your questions are worded in a way where I would block you. You would find fault in anything and would just be a pain in my ass complaining how the box has a small dent in it and you want a full refund etc.

Take it from an old man... life is way too short to worry about a scratch on a disc that spends 99.99999999999999% of your life going unseen. Have a drink. Go out dancing. Smell the roses.

p.s. "Like Knew"?

"Like New" is supposed to mean literally how it looks and is when it's new, except it has been opened and used. No scratches or marks of any kind, unless disclosed by seller. Any minor scuffs or damage to the case or artwork reduces the condition at least to "Excellent".

No you're not being too picky. If I bought something that's supposed to be Like New and it wasn't, I'd be in contact with the seller immediately with my concerns. And I'd be pissed if I had to pay return shipping to send their bullshit back to them too.

I noticed water marks in a case also. So there's watermarks in a case, food particles and smears of some kind on more than one disc, deep scratches/cuts/whatever you want to call it on the artwork of one DVD, and minor scratches on the playing part of a few discs. That is not "Like New."

I have been mentioning the food particles since the beginning. I noticed the watermarks as I was double checking that I was including everything to ship it back, I hadn't paid attention to the cases before..

Still can't believe she's going through with the hassle of paying for return shipping, boxing it up, driving to the post office, etc for a shitty mass marketed product.

Correct me if I am wrong, but This is the same person who meets craigslist people outside the bank and watches them withdrawal money.

Can you PM me your eBay user ID? I sell Blu-rays and such on eBay and frankly, I would never want to deal with you. Not to be mean, I just don't want you getting upset if you found a non-Blu-Ray element anywhere on the case.

Re: YEAT: Am I being too picky or do I have a legitimate beef?

Yes

And looking through GatorDebs threads she's started here in other, many are for ebay and many are pretty much the same. She either buys a ton from eBay or has terrible, terrible luck. At some point, she needs to stop using ebay and/or Craigslist.

More importantly, are you sure it isn't counterfeit?

But, look on the bright side, at least you weren't scammed out of a large chunk of money.

Well, at least you don't have to worry about mutually retracting negative feedback.

On another note, maybe try to sell it on Craigslist to see what you can get.

Okay, back to your original question, it's vague...i mean, it is a ding...

Wow. There's quite a bit of hilarity in those threads.

I'm actually sad I had missed them when they happened.

Man, that is some hilarious shit. I can't imagine someone demanding to come to the bank with me and watch me withdraw money from my account. Why would ANYONE commit to a transaction with those terms?

I don't shop ebay so I don't read those threads. I realize now that that was my loss.

Re: YEAT: Am I being too picky or do I have a legitimate beef?

Did Ms. Deb ever put the discs into the machine and actually PLAY them? If so, how did they look? If they played fine, she's being too picky. If they don't play fine, then she has an issue. If the alleged "scratches" don't affect the way the discs play, leave it alone.
