I Need a good fund raising website?

I'm a teacher looking to raise a some money. Some of my students and I are going to travel abroad next year to do some volunteer work. Is there a good, legit, fund raising website we can use to offset some of the costs?

It'll be used mainly for friends and family. I'd like to be able to accept PayPal and credit card payments.

re: I Need a good fund raising website?

The thread title is asking us if we need one. No, no we don't.

Kickstarter. Offer the backers a DVD recording the trip and volunteer work on your return.

Gofundme.com and indiegogo.com allow you to keep the money even if you come up short on the goal.

I know there used to be one called ChipIn, but apparently it's no longer in business.

indiegogo got my friend $50k for his cancer treatments thanks to a bunch of donations. He is in remission now.

I am a consultant on such things. If you'd like to PayPal me what you have to start with, I'll take care of the rest.
