Traveling to Singapore or Mumbai, India?
I am going for a short contract job and will be in each city for a few days. Any hints on travel. Probably not going out much in India (I am pretty much in and out of there), but might be up for a little siteseeing in Singapore. Also hitting Sydney, but that will be a bit easier to navigate.

I haven't been to Singapore in ages but the women are some of the most beautiful I've seen. There is a zoo in the upper part of the island. Raffles is interesting. The subway is a great way to get around. When you eat at a restaurant and see a "++" next to the price it means tax and tip are included.

I lived in Singapore for 10 months and I really didn't enjoy it. It's hot. I mean, it's really really hot. All the time. Once you get past that, it's alright.
Resorts World Sentosa is where you'll find Universal Studios Singapore. Once all the kinks were worked out, it's a pretty decent theme park. Small tho. There's a casino on Sentosa island as well as the world's largest animatronic figures - the Crane Dance (shameless plug... I was on the team that designed and built it).
I've heard Marina Bay Sands is pretty nice. I didn't have a chance to visit it while I was out there. The zoo is great. I don't know if it's still open but stop by Haw Par Villa near Pasir Panjang Road. It's a pretty wacky place.

The Marina Bay Sands looks nice, but that could be because of the infinity edge pool and the fact I first saw it in a BASE jumping video.

Also I guess everybody walks weird, there's an odd blurring effect that follows you around and it looks like it's made of toys.

I could have recommended tons of things to do in Delhi, India but for Mumbai i guess here are few things:
2 UNESCO World Heritage Sites: the Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus (Try taking a ride in local train - It can be more thrilling than bungee jumping sometimes ) and the Elephanta Caves
Gateway of India
Marine Drive
Taj Mahal Hotel

Thanks for everything so far. Any other practical trips? Should I bother with a SIM card? I have an unlocked iPhone 4 (and locked iP5). When I went to Germany in 2011, I used wifi and google voice to call home. Thinking that and Skype will work for me calling home.
Traveling light, just a carry on roller and a backpack. 3, 2day training classes I will be conducting for a IT company. I will be in "English" hotels, but not sure where/what they are yet.
Keep it coming!

Watched some travel shows about Singapore, as I have a bit more time there, and definitely going to Marina Bay Sands for a drink at night. Great view of the city...

Just stay away from the durian.
Funny timing. My company just booked my flight for a week-long trip to Singapore for the IAAPA Asian Attractions Expo in early June. Back to the heat after being 3 years away! Yay?
