Watching him drink an entire can of olive oil was the highlight of my day.

I liked Crystal Pepsi, but I was relatively young at the time.

Personally, I preferred 7-Up Gold from that time period.
I live in Phoenix and it was a test market also, but it wasn't here very long. It tasted the same the entire run, and as far as I could tell it tasted just like regular Pepsi.

Yes... I like it.

Crystal Pepsi tasted just like regular Pepsi. I don't know why it received such a backlash.

Crystal Pepsi absolutely did not taste anything like regular Pepsi.

No, it really didn't. It sort of had less 'bite' to it or something. It tasted more like sugar water than regular Pepsi.

I remember not liking it much at all, but it mixed well with cherry vodka.

Good Lord. They made a Pepsi with even less bite?

I guess the moral is that it's possible to make something so sweet and bland that even Americans won't buy it.

Even if it did taste like regular Pepsi, it was just... weird. Cola is supposed to be dark brown, not clear. Like any other product where the expected appearance is changed (green ketchup, for instance), it seems weird to people and most won't want it.

If you haven't seen it yet, Brad did a response video in which he also chugs a bottle of Crystal Pepsi.

(The Crystal Pepsi part starts about 10 minutes in)

The sad thing is he's making money off that video.

Well it must be fake. I mean if Brad the Cinema Snob doesn't get sick drinking old shit, then there is no way anyone could ever get sick drinking old shit.

You guys are nuts. Crystal Pepsi was way more refreshing when it was spit onto you in a large crowd than regular Pepsi or water ever was.

I still have a bottle of Crystal Pepsi in my garage, and it is about 20 years old. Maybe I should try it?

Yes, it does. I'd imagine the actual ingredients of what you're eating/drinking matter more then just how old it is. Just because someone has eaten something completely different but older doesn't necessarily mean anything at all.

If you have a SodaSteam, or other form of carbonator, you can even make it fizzy again.

Yep, it was eventually changed from "Crystal Pepsi" (clear cola) to "Crystal by Pepsi" (a citrus flavored drink, IIRC). I miss the original cola variety, and this video just reminded me that my dad still has an unopened glass bottle of Pepsi from the late 1960s. Can't imagine it would taste very good.
