I would love to be able to get through the day without needing coffee or some type of caffeine to stay awake. It seems like I need a power nap more and more frequently now.

Stay up and work a really long time. I was high on caffine consumption for about three years. I stayed up and worked non-stop. Now I try to get back into it and I just crash. I now have to go to sleep (or relax with some TV or whatever) when I start yawning, because I just become worthless.

sleep is the biggest issue. after having kids, i've become an even lighter sleeper than i used to be. any noise basically wakes me up.

Drink a can of Coke after 2:00 PM and still get to sleep before midnight. Sleep without a CPAP. Stay asleep after 6:30 or 7:00 AM on my days off.

When I was in my early twenties, I could fuck all night. Three, four, five, six times.
Now, once, and I'm done.

I'm not really old, 25, but I used to be able to sleep about 2 hours and be good to go. I could go a couple of days on just a few hours of sleep. Now, anything less than 6 hours every night and I am completely shot for days.
I've been kind of sleepwalking through the last couple of weeks seeing as I have a 13 day old baby at home.

Play baseball. I used to play from morning until it was too dark to see the ball. These days I play once every couple of months and am sore for days afterward. I go scuba diving every weekend, or else I would join an over 50 league so I wouldn't have to run so fast to keep up with the teens I play with now.

Yup, I have found if I take a multivitamin high with the Bs when I start drinking (maybe after too), I can be somewhat productive. If I forget to take the vitamin, if I get off the couch other than going to the bathroom it's a minor miracle. Bonus the vitamin turns my urine neon yellow.

Just turned 31. A few weeks ago, my wife was gone and I had planned (like the old days) to play video games all night long. I got up to about 1:30am before I started knocking out.
I also miss playing sports. I knew I was getting old when I broke my foot rounding second base routinely in my last game.

I turned 38 this year and my joints are really acting up. My right shoulder is bothering my today and my left elbow has been hurting but my knees have been the worse by far.

I used to sing beautifully and high pitched. But then my balls started growing hair.

Yes, in my teens and 20s I looked forward to sleeping in on days I didn't have to go to school/work, and could go to bed at midnight and sleep soundly for 10-11 hours.
Now, 8 or maybe 8 1/2 hours is my maximum. I guess that's a good thing as far as having more time in the day, but I liked those marathon conk-out sessions.

All night movie marathons. Loved doing this. Now I'm lucky to make it past 10. Of course, then I go to bed and I can't fall asleep right away.

Re: Older Otters: what do you miss doing that you can't do anymore?
Function perfectly without sleep would be my number one
and closely related to that, functioning with little sleep after having a case of beer the night before
and also someone mentioned sleeping in, man I wish I could do that again.
I use to sleep a couple hours per night a week M-F (and some nights not at all) and then catch up on the weekends (sleeping Sunday until 2pm or so) Now I need 6-7 hours per night or I feel like a pimp slapped whore all day. If I add lots of alcohol (say a anything over a 6 pack) and I feel like a pimp slapped whore that got caught stealing from pimp daddy
I wish I could grow hair on my head again
hair only seems to grow everywhere except my head.
so kids, the lesson to learn here is live hard and fast while you can, burn the candle at both ends while you are physically able, one day the fun all turns to pain
Then all you are left with are some great stories about the good old days partying on rooftops until the sun rises, putting on some deodorant and heading to work still drunk (in the same clothes from the day before), making those couple beers at lunch time the only thing that can fight off that hangover that is trying to creep in

Surprised that nobody has mentioned being able to masturbate 4 or 5 times a day and cum every time! Now I'm 65 and can only do it once or possibly twice a day - on a good day!
