As an aside, does anyone ever think "ass burgers" when they hear or read Asperger's?

Yes. The worst syndrome name after Gaineigeritis.

Asperger's Syndrome, the most over self-diagnosed psychological problem on the Internet today. Apparently every other man posting to the Net believes they have it.

This thread has potential to be a new "hey that is awesome" or "refreshing!"
Then again it might just be too depressing.

I think "Ass Purgers". And it does sound refreshing. Maybe better than douching.

Re: Friend from long ago committed suicide, 3 years after his twin sister died

Remind me never to post a thread about my true feelings.

If peeing in someone's butt is the ultimate sign of respect, responses in this thread are its exact opposite.
Thanks- though I was sort of expecting these types of responses when I posted this- If it was something that really mattered I wouldn't have posted it here. If there's one word that really describes how I fell about this whole thing, it's just: WEIRD. Weird that I would find out about his sister dying the way I did, and weird that he ended up killing himself later.

And thanks for reminding me that I still need to watch Brokeback Mountain. I think I'll watch Prince of Darkness again first though, since my friend loved that movie and I thought it was boring the one time I saw that. He also kept saying that Terry Gilliam's "Brazil" sucked after fast-forwarding through most of it.

If your friend said Brazil sucked, he wasn't a friend in the first place and it's probably for the best he offed himself.

Look, it's time for you to start hitting the pavement, get back out there, let people know you're still around and ready to get back looking at them fondly through their windows while they sleep.

Agree...I debated on reading it and I am still not sure how I feel now that I did.

Re: Friend from long ago committed suicide, 3 years after his twin sister died

I'm not entirely against suicide. Because watching a person continually "feeling pain" and being unable to get over a particular issue, is just like having a disease that won't go away--like watching a person who has a serious illness, taking several years to pass away, thinking it would be much better for them if they went peacefully much sooner at their request. While it's psychological, it's still creating the pain, for whatever reason. Where I disagree with suicide, is when a person has a spouse and children. It's tough on friends, but I draw the line on immediate family.

I was hoping someone would say something like that
