I didn't know the girl scout was black.

She must have been doing something wrong to cause these heroic girls to confiscate the money.

I'm sure Starbucks loved their logo prominantly displayed during these interviews.

That girl is a Libertarian hero and standing up for her cause. You know, because she needed money for a $5.50 Frapaccino. And that Girl Scout had it. Stupid Girl Scout should have been strapped with a gun if she didn't want to get her shit stolen. We live in a free nation and don't need Obama's big government telling us what 9 year olds we can and cannot steal from.

The Girl Scout program is just generational social conditioning, brainwashing our children to be part of a larger cause. Today it's selling cookies, tomorrow it's murdering those who aren't like them. It two years, when Obama activates our youth and turns the USA into Nazi Germany, you'll all come crying back to that brave Libertarian and beg her to teach you the ways of fending for yourself.

And I didn't appreciate the condescending tone from that left wing reporter. Typical liberal media bias.

Well, after paying for her Starbucks, and her cell phone, and her fancy nails, she didn't have any money left for contraception, so she HAD to steal it!

Stefanie Woods, convicted Girl Scout cookie thief, faces new charge in Broward County

By: Alexandra Seltzer, Palm Beach Post Staff Writer
The infamous "cookie monster" is in trouble again.

Stefanie Woods, 22, was arrested Thursday by North Lauderdale Police on a felony charge of violating her probation.

Woods drew national attention in 2008 when she and a friend stole $169 from a 9-year-old Girl Scout selling cookies outside a Winn-Dixie in suburban Boynton Beach.

Less than three weeks later Woods and the same friend were arrested after dining at a Denny's in western Lantana and then ditching. The two walked out on their $25.84 bill.

In 2009, Woods, her then-boyfriend and another man robbed a man of prescription drugs while armed with a gun in Palm Beach Gardens.

She pled guilty to kidnapping and robbery with a firearm charges in 2010.

Circuit Judge Amy Smith sentenced Woods to a year in jail, which she had already served.

She also was ordered into a Department of Corrections drug treatment center and then placed on two years of house arrest followed by probation.

Details of Woods' Thursday arrest were not immediately available.

I'd be curious to know what the statistics are for criminals who only commit ONE crime in their lives. Maybe I should say felonies or at the very least a misdemeanor. I'm not talking about people with multiple speeding tickets.

The way I see it, you're either the type of person that commits crimes or you're not. The vast majority of people don't do a "bad" thing once in their lives. Like they don't cheat on their spouse once and never do it again. They don't shoplift once and never do it again. They don't steal once and never do it again. They don't rape somebody once and never do it again. Sure, there are some instances of that, but I have to believe that once you cross over that line and commit a crime, the vast majority of people are going to do it again and again and again and again. I just don't think criminals, on the whole, can be rehabiliated. If you're a criminal, you're going to be a criminal forever. My guess is that Stefanie Woods is going to commit hundreds, if not thousands of more crimes in the next 30-40 years.

This sort of sociopath fascinates me. They would be furious if someone stole their money, but can't seem to get the idea that it's wrong to steal someone else's. It's like other people are just a natural resource, and not human beings.

Whoodido, you have inadequate data for your statement. People who commit a crime once, and then never again rarely get caught, so they are not in the statistics. There are plenty of bad things I only did once.

If only human behavior is that easy to analyze. The fact is you can teach old dog new tricks. There are people who got rehabilitated by the judicial system. Sure the percentage is low, but as everything else in life nothing is ever clearly black or white.
