Damn, I've got less than two months of 33 left. Wish I'd known this earlier in the year because... um...ah... gee, I dunno. I would have 33'ed harder?

So while it may be 33 for people over 40 now, it certainly isn't 33 for people in their 30s now.

Just another perspective haha.
I would tend to agree. The psychologist quoted above says something about how at 33 you have yet to get the cynicism and lack of hope that you get in later years, but that really depends a lot on what's going on in the world, the economy, and consequently your life during that time.

I'd also hope that you lose your childhood naivete way before 33... and then that quote from the 35 year old cougar...

This sounds about right to me. Just before a crushing midlife crisi kicks in but after getting comfortable as an adult.

33 has been okay so far. I'm definitely happier than I've been but no more happier than my happiest. Happy?

No! I'm over 33 so how could I possibly be happy?

I was really, really happy at 33. Now I'm 35, and I'm not quite as happy, but still pretty happy since I'm only 2 years removed from 33. So this study must be true!!!

When I turn 33 Obama's Presidency will be coming to end and we will have a new POTUS. Not sure if this will have anything to do with me being happy.

Re: 33 is the happiest age according to study

Next year is going to have an awful lot to top if that's the case. 32 has been/will be pretty great so far:

- Getting married in a month
- Everyone in good health
- Exercising much more
- Eating much better
- Lost 30 pounds in 6 weeks so far
- Honeymoon in Maui
