Thank You Jadzia and A Rare Post from G
Hi all.
Just wanted to give a public thanks to Jadzia for reminding me what made DVD Talk so special. I don't think I've ever seen anyone capture the soul of this place better than in her thesis.

A quick note about what's up with me: I've been hard at work doing for spirits and alcohol what I started out doing with DVDs. Helping people navigate through all the choices to find good stuff. While <a href="http://www.drinkspirits.com">Drink Spirits</a> doesn't have a forum, there still is some nice bits of conversation going on in the comments of each piece. It could never hold a candle to Other though.
In addition to doing Drink Spirits, I'm also writing for several magazines including Playboy (awaiting penetration puns), Essential Homme and Tasting Panel Magazine. Doing a lot of travel, drinking and writing.
It's great to see Otter alive and well and Jadzia's survey results really made me happy, glad so many of you have continued to call DVD Talk home for so many years. So thanks again Jadzia and thank you all for making DVD Talk...DVD Talk.

The 9/11 thread is epic. I recall sitting at my computer trying to get something done only to refresh the page every few seconds.
The passing mention of "dating advice" gave me a giggle. Rehashing mhg83's epic tale of tranny hookups and anonymous bathhouse sex would exceed the allotted time I'm sure.
