What are your sleeping hours?

Just curious...

I'm currently unemployed. Although I'm not occupying anything other than my house.

When I was working I usually went to sleep around 11:30-12:00 and woke around 6:30 AM for an 8:00 AM start time. Now I stay up late laying down guitar tracks, watching movies and fucking around on the internet, etc and usually crash about 2:00-3:00 am*, waking up around 10 AM or so.

So...what are your sleeping habits?

* hours may vary based on my insomnia.

Re: What are your sleeping hours?

I slept way more regularly when I was unemployed. Now I'm still up answering emails,

The same people emailing me yesterday at 11PM were emailing me again at 7AM today. And due to the prevalence of international commerce, there were even emails from Europe between then, but I feel no obligation to deal with them right away. It's literally getting so I can work every waking moment so I'm inclined to sleep as little as possible.

Re: What are your sleeping hours?

10:30-6, give or take a half hour on either end. During that time I will be up at least once for a crying baby and half the night will not be quality sleep.

Re: What are your sleeping hours?

Depends. The worse off I am psychologically, the later I tend to go to sleep, and vice versa. If I resolve to try to be writerly productive the following day, I try to get to sleep no later than 1 a.m. or so. If I don't get to sleep until 5, 6, or, rarely, as late/early as 7 or 8 in the morning, the day to come will be a washout.

Re: What are your sleeping hours?

I usually go to sleep between 11pm-12am. On days that I work, I'm up by 5:45am. On my day off, I'm up by 7am.

Re: What are your sleeping hours?

8 or 9 PM to 5 AM. I need lots of sleep or I get daytime drowsy spells. I just changed my work schedule from 9:30-6:30 to 7-4.

Re: What are your sleeping hours?

Usually 12am-8am. I start work at 9.
If I get less than 7-8 hours I get migraines, so I have to stay consistent.

Re: What are your sleeping hours?

Usually between 11 and midnight to 7AM. I usually work from 9AM-5PM but my company is flexible about start times--a lot of times I'll wake up early and go in at 8 or 8:30 and leave a bit early. The majority of people in my department don't start showing up until 9:30-10 so I get a nice quiet start to my day.

Re: What are your sleeping hours?

I have been an insomniac for almost my entire life.

Generally speaking, it is between 11:30-12:30 when I go to bed. I averaged about 5-6 hours of sleep.

I was prescribed temazepam recently and I am going to bed most nights around 10:30 and getting up around 7. But it also depends on what I am going. My job doesn't really require me to be in at a specific time...I can stroll in whenever I want for the most part. And when I am working from home, I tend to go to bed later and get up later.

Re: What are your sleeping hours?

Midnight to 6:45 or so. Weekends it's more lik 1-9.

But we're having a baby in two weeks, so I suspect this is going to change quite a bit.
