This guy is, not surprisingly, turning into a meme. He also has a series of taxidermy how-to videos.

I don't know what it is. This meme just doesn't feel as fresh or authentic as some of the others we've learned to love over the years. The Star Wars one has too much disconnect. It's like they're trying to use it like 'ima let u finish'

The episode of Commercial Kings was one of the weaker ones but the ad was amusing. The meme status does seem forced.

The ad looks like it's trying too hard to look like a cheap amateur production. Is this even a real thing?

Re: Nope! It's Chuck Testa.

It's one of the commercials spawned off Commercial Kings (an entertaining short lived show on IFC), two pro ad makers (Rhett and Link) who go around and shoot local ads for small businesses. So yes, it is real to an extent, they do however aim for viral publicity so it isn't something that someone found funny and decided to film.

The guy in the ad and the business is real, everything else is about as synthetic as they come.

Re: Nope! It's Chuck Testa.

It fails as a meme because the ad is clearly intended to be funny and an exageration of poor quality local ads. In fact the quality video and editing makes it LESS funny.
