Around 2 times a week sounds like you make it pretty regularly. I've gone from making it in a pot to a cheaper rice cooker to a more expensive rice cooker. It's my favorite appliance and I probably eat rice less than you do.

I got one of these for Christmas...I just started using it this week...and I actually really like it. I make soup a lot, and the hot bowl is always a pain....it is a little smaller than I would like, but it works perfect..

Got one of these the other day. I refuse to be the blue tooth dork with his borg implant in, and this is a very nice alternative. Hides nicely under the collar. Ends are magnetic, so they will hold the ear buds perfectly. And beyond calls, it is a great way to listen to music without getting a cord hin the way, which happens to me a lot when I am plowing snow, mowing the yard, etc. It is the LG Tone (HBS-700) Wireless Bluetooth Stereo Headset.

I have a 12" hitachi that doesn't slide. After having replaced several blades, and seeing the cost of the 10" blades, I wish I had purchased a 10" sliding one.

Poured Resin

There are several brands. I'm doing a project using the Glaze Coat

http://www.lowes.com/pd_298930-1149-...ductId=3366918

The reason I think it better than expected, is in doing research I read how finicky it is. And some reported problems and asked for help to fix. Yet so long as you follow the mixing direction (which are easy), it is really easy to work with. And I had no idea would would dry so damn crystal clear! It is really cool. Sure you can use it to coat your wood bar top. Or they sell small batches at hobby stores for jewelry or small boxes.

But of course I'm using it to make the ever sophisticated beer top table! Really cool stuff. And yes, the gallon size is pricey (I'll use about 1.5 gallons), considering I already had all the stuff for the table to build, the expense for the resin is my total cost.

Here are pic's of the final product. There is easily 1/2" of poured resin. Maybe more. It is so clear, it is hard to get a good pic. It almost looks like only the caps are there.
