and I said yes
On Christmas Day my boyfriend flew in to NJ, where I was spending the Holidays with extended family, to surprise me and propose. I said yes.

That was the easy part. Now begins the adventures of wedding planning! I'm looking at a wedding in the DC Metro area so if any otters are a)photographers or b)know a photographer please let me know.
lastly, sqqqqqquuuueeeeeeeee! /girlish glee

Re: and I said yes
Thanks folks. To those asking for pictures, there is at least one of me in the otter photo album.
In regards to the significance of the ring, it's an Oregon Sunstone that we got at the Dust Devil Mining Co. near Lakview, OR. We got the ring made here in TX. I do not like diamonds (they are not pretty and barely rare) and I wanted something uniquely American.
and yeah, I can barely spell.
Thanks for the correction.

Congrats!!!
And
for wanting to do something different with your ring. When I got married I chose not to have a guy's typical boring band on my finger. I opted for some diamonds....
