Re: Are you happy with your height?

6'3", but I was already six feet tall when I was twelve years old. I also wore size 12 shoes then, so the old "Act your age, not your shoe size" never worked for me.
I had gym teacher in junior high who told me when people ask how the weather is up there to spit on them and say it's raining.

As others have commented on, I could use that 1.5" elsewhere.
agree with everything here

Pants and jeans I don't really have a problem with. Get most of my jeans at Old Navy and pants at Kohls.

I've had a harder time finding dress shirts where the sleeves are long enough. I sometimes luck out in JcPennys but I usually have to go out of my way to Men's Wearhouse or another store. 36/37 sometimes fit, but I usually need a 38/39.

Re: Are you happy with your height?

I am 6'2" about 230 lbs, and love being taller, but I worry about how my size comes across to people.

I'm like 5'11 and 3/4'. That extra quarter inch would be nice.

Re: Are you happy with your height?

6'8" here and love being tall but hate flying and cars, always a hassle.

Another issue is finding shoes that fit. Size 15 which isn't horribly large but large enough that most places stop at 13 or 14.

I'm 6'8" now and 192, was 292 in May.

Re: Are you happy with your height?

I'm a bit under 6'2". I'd rather be a bit over 6'2" or maybe 6'3", but I can live with it.

Designers of roller coasters do have tall guys in mind. They live in fear that some teenage Shaq will raise his hands and hit an I-beam at 60 mph, and rip off his hand, so they make sure sure that NO ONE can touch those beams.

Your head is only about 8" higher than the average rider. You're safe.

We go through this every couple of years. It's just a tall bunch of guys in this forum. I think it's pretty funny.

Re: Are you happy with your height?

I'm 5'7 and would love to be 6' even.

To me that's the perfect height. Definitely not tall enough to seem "weird" in any way, but just taller than average.

I honestly wouldn't want to be 6'5' or anything like that. I'm not depressed or anything being short, but it kinda sucks being a little guy, but I'd honestly rather be 5'7 than 6'5. Nothing against tall people but I guess I'd rather just be 3 inches shorter than average than 7 inches taller than average.

6' 6" tall. Except for occasionally running my head into doorjambs in old houses, I'm okay with my height.

Re: Are you happy with your height?

Since the OP couldn't be bothered to list them, you might like to know that the average height (U.S. caucasian) for men is 5'10", women 5'4".

I'm just shy of 6'. I always wanted to be 6'1", my dad's height. Still, I'm pretty okay with it.

5' 10"

The only times I wish I was taller occur at general admission concerts.

Re: Are you happy with your height?

I'm 6'1". Wouldn't mind being 6'2" or 6'3" but no desire to be taller than that. I need more height in my torso.

In my family, I'm of average height.

I was in China this summer and the entire month I saw maybe 3 locals my height. In subways I could see clear to either side of the train.

Can't even imagine if I was 6" taller in that situation...

Treesa's 3'1" & I'm 5'11''.

Needless to say, I am most pleased.

Spoiler:

(Actually, she's 5'6". 'I'm' 3'1".)

5ft7" here.

Shame really, would've liked to been taller.
Have been with 2 women that were taller though.

Ah well, that's life!

Tall shirts are nice for certain things but not others. I'm 6'1" and I try and find "tall" undershirts as i've found they fit me better and aren't as likey to hike up over my belt line, though I tend to not like the fit of "tall" dress shirts.

I'd prefer to be my dad's height (6'3").
