Blues Brothers is good for Illinois, but Ferris Bueller's Day Off would be good too. Not Wayne's World -- it's set in Illinois, but there's nothing Illinois about it. They could be anywhere.

There are a half dozen(at least) films I would substitute for New Mexico.

Seriously, a lot of people are complaining about East Texas vs West Texas, L.A vs Northern California, and NYC vs Upstate New York. Those three states all show up in a lot of movies. If we get a lot of votes or a good argument for a better movie, I'll change it.
