Eerie image captured in the Woods

http://www.wdtn.com/dpp/news/strange...tured-in-woods

BERWICK, Louisiana (WVLA) - A deer hunter captures a spooky image wandering through the Louisiana woods at night.
A hunter near Baton Rouge says he found this freaky photo on his deer stand camera.
The hunting camera was broken but the memory card was still there and so was this bizarre image.
It looks like a cross between a human and an animal, with long slender appendages and glowing eyes.
The hunter says he just hopes it's a vegetarian, if he runs into it in the woods again.

Yikes, looking at that thing gives me the chills.

EDIT: Looks like a hoax. The same pic can be found here:

Just goes to show you that as smart as we think we've become, there are still things that defy rational explanation.

By which I mean local TV news.

It's clearly just a zombie, or possibly a ghoul. Not sure why their making such a big deal of this.

The hunter claims it's not a hoax, but a commenter already points to other places where the photo has shown up on the internet. http://www1.nbc33tv.com/news/nbc33-s...zy-hunting-pic

It must be real! It's on the television set!!

If you had read the comic book first you'd understand it.

It's an electron microscope scan of the zombie virus, with glowing eyes edited in.

Re: Eerie image captured in the Woods

I saw this on the tv at the gym, and I thought it was almost as stupid as the "missile launch" news.

There's just no point in watching the news any more. I'll stick to listening to rumors.

I think "eerie" is a poor word choice here.

I think it's a time traveler of some sort. I mean look at the cell phone the creature is using! That's not today's technology!

Hahaha classic, that cracked me up! Time to break out the DVD of that, and might have to throw in some Monkey Drummer as well...the "solo" at the end always gets me...

Re: Eerie image captured in the Woods

Hmm... picture of a monster that turned out to be a hoax huh? I'm sure the men-in-black already planted the other photos online to through the open-minded "scientists" off their track. It is obviously true, otherwise psychics would have warned us about the hoax by calling the news.

Re: Eerie image captured in the Woods

The hunter should have claimed it was bigfoot. There are groups around the country that would have come out and agreed that it was real straight away.
