my iphone earthquake app just sent an alert. 3.8 in the greater LA area

Quite a freakin' shaker here! Books fell off shelves, pictures fell off the piano. Been through a lot of these but this kinda scared me.

Same here. Just spent past hour vacuuming the living room and dining room where a few potted plants toppled from their shelves and a couple of antique decanters crashed to the floor. Could have been way worse, but I can't remember ever experienceing a quake that shook that violently.

Pretty intense here in Whittier... real violent but short. Lot's of stuff off of shelves, cabinets. The next 48-72 hours are gonna suck ass if these are possible foreshocks. Fun times!
