Best fries: The fries I make at home with fresh potatoes. Real potato flavor. Stay home, cut and fry your own.

Always have, always will. If their fries hadn't always been so obviously inferior to McDonalds for so long, they would have fared much better in the "burger chain wars" in decades past.

I don't personally eat fries much anymore, but I seem to recall really liking Fuddruckers fries among chain restaurants.

Regular Fries: Chick-fil-A

Flavored Fries: Checkers

---

And for what it's worth, I actually think Burger King's fries are decent. I don't remember when they made the change, but a while back they changed them and made them taste more like potatoes (even though they still don't really taste like potatoes) and ever since I've enjoyed them more. Still nowhere near the best, but if they're fresh I think I'd put them ahead of McDonald's for sure.

Whataburger without question. Runner-up would be Braum's, though I prefer their's with ketchup.

Re: Who Has The Best Fries?

Last week, I noticed that Burger King is now selling their fries in the grocery store frozen food section. Quite surprising, considering they have a pretty widespread reputation as shittiest chain fries.

I actually like Burger King fries. McDs are the worst. The best are Five Guys. Plus they give you a ton.

Re: Who Has The Best Fries?

I am excited to try 5 guys, they just opened here last week. Just waiting for the crowds to die down.

I am a fan of Sonic Chili Cheese Tots, but not technically a fry.

McD's aren't as good since they stopped frying in beef tallow, but I would give them the nod as fast food fries.

When just considering those two chains, I concur.

Although, for me best would be Rally's and worst would be Steak 'N Shake(only because they get cold inside of 90 seconds).

Re: Who Has The Best Fries?

I can't remember the last time I've eaten fries that were not from Burger King or McDonald's, and of the two, I quite like Burger King!

(btw, this is one of the few times you'll see the word quite while it is not 'quiet' misspelled)
