Denny's Fried Cheese Melt

Has anybody else seen this? I read it in another forum, but I figured the Otter would know first, they did break the Double Down news!

If you thought KFCs Double Down was bad, just wait until you get your hands on the new Fried Cheese Melt from Dennys. The heart-stopping monstrosity combines 4 fried mozzarella sticks and a grilled cheese sandwich. At only $4 with a an included side of fries, its a lot more filling for the price tag than the Double Down.

Is that a cross-section of what your arteries will look like after eating it?

Re: Denny's Fried Cheese Melt

It doesn't look remotely appetizing. But a lot of that has to do with my hatred of Denny's. They have an absolutely awful menu.

1260 calories isn't that huge, considering the fries and marinara. However, if I am eating that many calories, there better be some meat involved.

With the salt in the marinara sauce, your heart should be able to make enough pressure to blast right through the plaque in your arteries. No guarentees you won't "pop a pipe" however.

Re: Denny's Fried Cheese Melt

I don't think that looks all that appetizing but as Mcfly already pointed out that might have something to do with the fact that it's from Denny's.

Re: Denny's Fried Cheese Melt

The only thing I ever liked at Denny's was a dinner entree they used to have in the mid-1980s called Maryland Chicken. And the only reason I knew about that was because I was waiting tables for them at the time.

That thing looks gross.

I don't think anyone who said they would eat indicated that they'd eat it every day. It's more of a novelty than anything anyway, similar to the KFC Double Down.

i highly doubt that partaking in this mess one time would have any effect on your health. Have one every day, well then that's a different story.
