Do you complain when someone wakes you a few minutes early?

Well, this girl was complaining about how she was woken up 2 minutes early. She said something like, "Ma, i have two more minutes!!!"

So, my question is, do you have someone wake you up, and if so, do you complain if they wake you up a few minutes early? Me, i just set my alarm clock.

I typically use my alarm clock. Having been out of work for a couple weeks with an injury, I've been sleeping in a bit.

"This girl?" Are you the mother? Or were you hiding in her closet when this went down?

Tell her to stop mooching off her parents. Problem solved!

Yeah, if you're in a position where your parents are waking you up, then you're probably going to be complaining about it.

I use an alarm but almost always wake up naturally right before it goes off.

Usually use an alarm clock and complain when that wakes me up.

I wake up naturally, and have only used an alarm clock a handful of times over the past several years. However, I don't like being woken up before my body decides I should be waking up.

Me too. If I have an early appointment or something I'll set the alarm on my phone, otherwise it's whenever I get tired of sleeping.

Alarm clock. But I usually wake up 5 minutes before the alarm goes off, for no other reason then thinking that hearing a loud, screaming alarm will be a bad start to my day.

If someone wakes me up before I'm ready, I kill them. Okay, just kidding.

I do the same, only the alarm starts at 7AM, the snooze button gives me a 7-minute repreive, and I am eventually out of bed sometime between 7:45-8AM.

My wife learned quickly that your method, or snoozing, will not fly with me. The alarm goes off once. If I hear it again, I'm pushing her off of the bed.

Re: Do you complain when someone wakes you a few minutes early?

I don't use an alarm clock. I just get up when I get up. 99% of the time, that gets me to work by 8:30 or before.

Re: Do you complain when someone wakes you a few minutes early?

I have an alarm clock, but my cats are more reliable for a 5:30AM wakeup call. On Mondays, when my alarm goes off at 4:40AM, I wake them up. My husband covers his head with his pillow at gets up at 5:45AM with no help nor alarm clock.

Re: Do you complain when someone wakes you a few minutes early?

If I wake up a few minutes early, I'll stay in bed until my alarm goes off. Unless it was my bladder that woke me up, then I'll grudgingly get out of bed rather than laying there needing to whiz.

This sounds a lot like me. It's rare that an alarm will go off and I'll just wake up. It's a long, painful process that is still continuing when I get to the office. Just ask the people I work with. They will agree that mornings with me can be painful.

Re: Do you complain when someone wakes you a few minutes early?

I voted before reading all the options. Usually I just use my alarm clock but if someone is waking me up it better be either on time or 1-2mins later or I will complain, yes.
