He is pointing to a lump on his nuts. And possibly dipping it in coffee.

Cartoons are like gossamer and one doesn't dissect gossamer.

Ha! It's merely a commentary on contemporary mores.

We got a dog and a cat in an office. The cat is saying "I've enjoyed reading your E-mail".

I love the cartoonist's use of negative space.

Re: Need help understanding a comic strip

The young boy has to break the news to his father that he has testicular cancer. He's very scared to do so and isn't sure of the proper way to go about it. He then realizes a great way to tell him without actually having to say it. He knows his father usually takes one lump of sugar in his coffee, so when his father says 'just one, please" the young boy dips his one nut into the coffee cup, indicating to his father without actually having to say it, that he in fact only has one nut now.

That's a rather clever jab at inter office politics don't you think?

I respectfully take issue with your interpretation of this animated story, Firteen88. I believe that the male character holding the coffee cup is referring to a lump on one of his two testicles, not that he has only a single testicle.

Re: Need help understanding a comic strip

The new comic makes even less sense than the first one. But it makes the entire thread hilariously surreal.
