Specialty/Regional Potato Chips (i.e. Route 11, Zapps)

Ok so I had some Route 11 Chesapeake Crab potato chips and I was quite impressed. They tasted like they were seasoned with Old Bay which I love on fries but can't anything like them near Texas.

I was looking at ordering a multi-pack online when I noticed Utz makes a flavor called "The Crab Chip" as well.

If you've tried both, which do you prefer? If not, what are your favorite regional varieties that might be available to order online. I'll start:

I suggest Zapp's Spicy Craw-Tators chips. These are similar to the crab boil flavored chips but are spicy and damn good. Just had some with an Italian from Potbelly's & it had me thinking about those Route 11 Chips.

These were fantastic, the others flavours that are left are too.

You didn't specify the US. These are some of the best on earth. If you like chips, you need to order some of these babies. This is the gourmet shit. From Herefordshire in the UK.

There are these locally made New Mexico red chile chips that are to die for. I can't find an image or a website. But they are insanely good. Original New Mexico Style Red Chili Chips.

It's either Sterzing's or Sterling's. Made in Burlington, Iowa. Best I've had. Grew up in Davenport, Ia. Right in town was the factory for Hiland Potato Chips. Took a tour of the plant in Cub Scouts. They were nothing special, about the same as Lay's. Had a scottish guy with bagpipes on the bag.

Their chips were sooo much better than the stuff in the supermarkets. Inside the shop was a picture of President Eisenhower smiling as he opened a bag of Granite State Potato Chips.

It looks like they closed in 2002.

I'm from PA as well and alot of ppl love Herr's and Utz's and I can't see why. The only chips Ill eat from Herr's or Utz's are the "Red Hot" chips.
