I don't believe a 3.6 can even be felt by a human. Or I should say, if you did feel it you wouldn't be able to distinguish it from a door slamming or a truck going down the street.

I'm sure I didn't really feel it, as I'm down in Northern Virginia about 20 miles or so from the epicenter, but oddly, I did wake up right at the time the quake hit. Looked at my alarm and saw that I had more time to sleep, didn't need to pee, was super tired, so no reason to wake up; might have been the rumbling....

3.6 actually makes the news in D.C.? Those 3.6 mag pussy rumblers are a daily occurrence out here... A news worthy tremor in California pretty much has to be in the high fours before we take notice.

You'd better flee D.C. before it falls into the Atlantic Ocean!
