Blair's Death Rain Kettle Chips

Just curious, anybody ever try these... or any of their other products?

Being laced with Blair's Death Rain dry spice mix which is based on the Red Savina strain of Habanero pepper, a single of those thick kettle cooked chips packs more of a punch than a tablespoon of regular tabasco sauce.

That actually looks awesome. I'll have to look for it next time I'm grocery shopping.

I've been buying the various Blair's chips for many years.

They rock.

British war protesters have no shame, but they have Habaneros?

I have a bottle of Blair's Ultra Death Sauce. I occasionally put 5 drops in a big pot of spaghetti sauce. Good stuff.

My wife bought me a whole case of those chips for Christmas 2 years ago... great stuff. Absolutely the hottest chips I've ever had. I have their "After Death" sauce... fantastic.

Re: Blair's Death Rain Kettle Chips

You can order them online if you want them.

IIRC Amazon even carries them.

They have some really good flavours too. I like the Cajun, the parmesan flavour, the cheddar flavour.

Re: Blair's Death Rain Kettle Chips

I put a case in my save-for-later cart at Amazon. Now I'll just wait for it to go on sale.

I noticed that you get free shipping if you order $75+ directly from Blair's.

I've seen them at World Market stores occasionally.

I bought some there a few years ago, but haven't seen them in stock since.

I'll have to order some, because those chips really pack in the heat.

I'm crying on the inside at the sight of a website called "extremefoods.com". I hate the "extreme foods" trend.

Re: Blair's Death Rain Kettle Chips

Glad I came across this thread.. my buddy and I love hot chips.

So, I ordered a case through amazon. I think it was like 36 bucks with free super saving shipping for 28 bags.

They arrived today.

Verdict, very tasty chip but nearly as hot as I expected or hoped. My wife who hates hot stuff had one and is like they're not to bad, but I wouldn't eat them.

They did get progressively hotter as I ate them and by the bottom of the bag I definitely had some tingling in my mouth.

I would say pick them up if you find them around, not sure they're worth a special order though personally..

Re: Blair's Death Rain Kettle Chips

There are several flavours of these chips. All are worth trying if you enjoy the flavour of chile.

Cheddar, Cajun, BBQ, Parmesan, Chipotle, etc. They're all good.

No they are not 'joke' hot or anything like that... 'so hot your mouth will melt' or anything. But good flavour and some heat to go along.
