Oh no, I get it. You don't get that the creator would never put in the War on Poverty, as it's one of the "good" "Wars on (fill in the blank.)" Never mind the 40+ years of failure, it's Mommy Gubmint looking out for you.

I got it off another board, so my guess is as good as yours. I love it though.

Why can't you just laugh at the fucking comic like everyone else?

Because David Rees is a partisan asshat?

Because David Rees stopped "Get Your War On" on January 20, 2009, because everyone knows the War on Terror ended with Obama getting into office.

Because we have a thread in Politics for that?

*edit*: Because David Rees is a one trick pony. If I want to read funny clip art comics, I'll read the Golden Age of Drink-Man Comics.

Can we leave the political sniping out of this thread? I think the comic was pretty funny regardless of political orientation. I have no idea who the hell David Rees is.

Re: The Random Webcomic Thread

I've seen that peanut butter and jelly one before and it doesn't make sense. The lids "pop" when opened if the seal "hasn't" been broken. It's totally backwards.

Yes it's two jars about to get it on, I can deal with that. I can't deal with it being wrong about a basic packaging design.

It does make sense. He hasn't unscrewed the top yet, and it still pops. Go find an unopened (ie. "virgin") jar in the grocery store and press the top; it won't pop.
