Probably going to spend part on an iPad and save the rest. Or blow it all on hookers. Either/or.

I won't be getting much back, but like the others... either 1 really nice hooker or 3 ugly ones. Haven't decided which yet.

Going right into my almost empty savings account. Always good to have some relatively liquid money on hand.

Since I got my refund nearly two months ago, I used it to buy this:

Sony KDL-40EX500

Closing on a new house next week, so I'll be using mine (the homebuyer credit) to change the cabinets in the kitchen before we move in.

I'm fine with that, as long as your savings is at a credit union.

Refund? Don't even know what that is. I guess I'm one of the few that had to pay taxes this year. I would have bought an HD projector with my -5400, but I guess I'll just have to wait till next year.

A little under $3,000 coming back here, but I need to sock it all away for my upcoming property taxes (I'll owe a little over $8,000 for two houses).

Re: 2009 Tax Refund --> what will you do with it?

I had to pay $1134 due to not working all last year when I was laid off... luckily I saved a good $2000 from my unemployment payments as I was expecting to have to pay quite a bit in taxes at the end of the year.

So, uh, nothing? Ha.

If you do get a big refund and you're single like me... you're probably doing your federal withholding wrong. I'd rather get more on every paycheck and earn interest on that money than get a bucket of money at the end of the year for "free" sans interest.

Re: 2009 Tax Refund --> what will you do with it?

I had to pay 700 as a result of A. Not withholding enough (I figured I had always done two before, why not continue) and B. I surprisingly had no withholdings on the $2600 poker jackpot I won

Already spend on a new distributer, distributer cap, spark plugs and wires.

Re: 2009 Tax Refund --> what will you do with it?

I used most of my measley Federal return, less than 500, to pay my state taxes. It doesn't matter how much we pay in to the state every year as we always owe them 200-300 dollars.

In that case, I wouldn't pay anything in.
