I also got some bills when my credit card was not used.had to cancel the whole card.The thing is that there were small bills.Around $20 each and 7 transactions.I just used it online to buy an air ticket from the airlines homepage.

And I actually did that guy a favor, the next house he bought he would have gotten the $6,500 home buyer credit. I bought this house four weeks before that went into effect, and since I already owned a house I don't qualify for the new home buyer money giveaway.

Great, now my suspicous wife thinks that the purchase was legitmate, for one of my mistresses. I am not concerned enough about this charge and haven't tried to track down who did it. So I must know what the charge was and who it was for (one of my non-existent mistresses, or other non-existent children). The card was cancelled, a new card with a new number is in the mail. What does she want me to do?

This is the same person who "caught" me having an affair because a woman she didn't know was sending me information on how to buy viagra. Yes, I got into hot water over spam email. I was looking at my cell phone while listening to a podcast after coming home from work the other day, I was supposedly "deleting call history". Women.

That's my life. I was carpooling with a coworker who had a 3 or 4 year old son, this turned into my supposedly having an affair with this girl into the child being mine into the child being mine with a different mistress and my paying this girl to raise my love child.

The reason why she is suspicous over the credit card charge was because I told her it was from a dating service and of course that would be something a cheating husband could potentially spend money on.

And I have never cheated on her, don't have children with other women, etc etc.

Yesterday was interesting, she has started opening all of the bills / statements, etc and questioning everything I spend money on, looking for evidence that I am supporting a mistress who has my child. I took out $600 from the ATM last month which is definite proof that I am supporting a love child. I explained that $200 was for the mechanic, $70 was for paint and supplies for our old house which I'm cleaning up, and another $100 was for postage for eBay items (I have receipts for them all), the rest of the money was for lunch, gas, some groceries, movies, etc. I even have receipts for the mechanic, the home supplies, the postage - doesn't matter, I'm supporting a love child.

She has turned nuts in the past six months or so, ever since we bought our new house. I don't know if its menopause (she's 45) or what be she has gone paranoid / nuts. You get to a point where you just don't care anymore and I'm past that point.

My guess is that she is cheating on you, has cheated on you, or is thinking about cheating on you. Guilty minds tend to use projection. Or she is just a woman doing her woman thing...

I got my billing statement today, there was $122 from Match.com one day, another $122 the next day, a little over $244 in all. Expensive site!

When the lady from the credit card called me, she read off the charges and I said that the $120 was a fraudulent charge and she issued a new card to me with a new number (I received it a few days later). She said that any future charge would be blocked and that the $120 was in dispute. I called the card again today, not only was the $120 not in dispute but they let the next two charges go through. Great. I'll call them again tomorrow, for some reason I couldn't place a charge in dispute on the weekend. She had also said that the charges were from "meetic", apparently in mid February Meetic and Match.com joined forces in some overseas countries.

In the meantime, I had bought a TV show for $1.99 from iTunes in late January - I never saw the billing statment and would have been looking for it after the call from the credit card company about fraudulent charges. I was charged a $25 late fee for the $1.99 TV show. Even if I had received a bill this card has *never* had a minimum amount due for the first month a charge was on the card if the card was in good standing, and I've had this card for 15+ years. So they have apparently done away with that. I'll be calling the issuing credit union tomorrow and will see if they will reverse the $25 fee and take the late payment mark off of my credit report (I assume it's there).

And I had also ordered some glasses through Amazon (through a retailer) a month ago, I received a partial order. I called up the company and they sent me the rest of the order which was supposed to be at no charge because the original order was short - nope, they charged me full retail for the replacements, about $400. I need to give them a call tomorrow also.

The financial stuff has worked out. But as for my wife... OK, my cell phone is a Tracfone, Motorola W376g. Cheap and works great as a phone. For texting, there are templates, what Motorola calls "Quick Notes".

In the middle of the night, while I was asleep, my wife took my cell phone scouting around for proof I was cheating on her (I'm not) and saw these templates and thought they were a record of text messages I've sent. So while I am in a sound sleep she gives me a hard slap on my face as hard as she can, throws the phone at me and says "I've got proof now! Who were you texting while you were in a meeting? Who were you late for?". I tell her that they are templates and that she is a crazy bit**. Even this morning she is sure that she has proof that I've been cheating on her.

Now that you mention it, she did say during her little rant last night that because she had "caught" me cheating (the Motorola Quick Notes) she was going to have an affair and she knew who it was going to be with. She works at a grocery store and meets tons of people there. I just dismissed it as one of her crazy rants.
