So, what's he in for? The fear of sucking jello out of a guy's ass has always kept me on the right side of the law. Is what he did worth sucking jello out of a guy's ass? Obviously that is a different threshold for each of us.

Federal prison. But for what? Will be be in there with the bad dudes? Or the guys who fibbed on their taxes?
All of the 'real life' prison documentries, etc. that I see are very tame. I believe that prison is very exagerated in fiction.
Look at it this way: Comparing real-life prison to Oz is like comparing real-life police work to Die Hard. Both are more like Steven Soderbergh's "Bubble".
Or look at that "30 Days" episode (Morgan Sporlock's show) where he goes to prison. (edit: oops, looks like that was a county jail)
I just refuse to believe that prison is all about being kicked around by murderers and raped in the poop chute.
And tell that ASSHOLE to stop breaking the law!
