Help me ID a toy from the 1970's

I have it in my mind that it was akind of military-themed rop-course playset.

A playset. Military in theme, I think.

It had little figures (paratroopers?) which traveled along ropes/wires. They might have been magnetic.

Kind of like a rope course playset. I think the figures slide along the wires and were held on by magnets. Or maybe the child turned a crank which caused the figures to move?

Any ideas?

Could it have been M.A.C. Men? (mobile action command)

The ones here are rescue workers, not military, but they did have military ones too.

There's a rope on the back of the mountain and more pics here:

It may have been a Tonka issue.

Sounds like the Evil Kneivel Stunt Cycle, which was one of my favorite toys from the '70s.

I think you win. This one HAS to be it:

Of course, it's not magnetic and there are not 25+ guys, and the figures are MUCH larger, but it strikes me as being correct.
