Re: YACT:Corrola or Civic

Have you driven both?

I was choosing between a Camry and Accord. I drove both and preferred the Camry by a lot.

Re: YACT:Corrola or Civic

Yeah, whichever you get the better price on. From my experience, that is normally the Honda.

Re: YACT:Corrola or Civic

Male? Get a civic. Corolla is a girl's car, civic is a borderline girl's car but still acceptable if you are male. If you are a girl get the corolla.

Ford Focus.

There are more than two car companies in this country, you know.

Re: YACT:Corrola or Civic

I've always had Hondas and Acuras, so I would go with a Civic. But really you probably can't go wrong with either.

Re: YACT:Corolla or Civic

btw, you might want to look into the Accord or Camry as well. Although i didn't do much research on the Civic or Corolla, what i've found from several dealers was at the time i bough it (about a year ago), the Civic wasn't really cheaper than a Camry. Of course, if you drive a lot, then the MPG should also play a factor, but if you don't drive too much, then it won't matter too much.

I personally don't, but I know two people that do.

There's no way I'd take the lowest end model Chevy over a Honda or Toyota. They seem like okay rides but they're for people on budgets and their resale is atrocious. I didn't even know Chevy still made them.

I had one as a rental for a few days. It was crappy, it felt cheap and junkie and had no pickup (I live near Seattle so lots of hills around here). Also I'm both tall and big, and it was very uncomfortable. I had a Ford Focus as a rental right after and it was far superior, for a cheap car I thought it was pretty nice.

Edit: When I got the Cobalt as a rental car (it was a loaner for my other car that got smashed in a parking lot) they also had a Corolla but it wasn't clean so I'd have to wait--the people at the lot kept asking if I was sure I didn't want to wait for the Corolla. Apparently they didn't think much of the Cobalt either. I was in a hurry, but I wish I had waited due to the crappiness of that car.
