Favorite drunk food

Being from Canada I've always loved to eat shawarmas and poutine (for those in the US, it's fries with cheese curds topped with beef gravy). But since i've been living in Chicago, I've yet to find a constant late night snack.

So what's your favorite drunk food?

Re: Favorite drunk food

Used to be fries and gravy. Now it would burrito or taco from a hole in the wall not a Taco Bell.

Re: Favorite drunk food

The California burrito from Fausto's (a chain in Vegas).

Carne Asada, guacamole, sour cream, cheese, and rice. It's heaven wrapped inside of a tortilla.

Oh, come on, bw! Close yer eyes and open wide! Everything ends up tasting just like chicken. Doesn't it?

Spoiler:

That pic was meant as a JOKE.

After entering the thread, I thought what would I eat if I were drunk and so I did a search for something weird to munch on and found (of all things...) 'Cattle Lung'!

(Truth is, I thought it was a joke food until I saw pictures of people actually EATING IT! However, if I've said it once, I've said it a thousand times: 'To each his or her own', and I can sincerely respect that. )

Our drinking habits are as such: Treesa & I may drink a toast to a friend or Loved one or have a glass of wine at dinner (once or twice a year for our Birthdays, or Anniversary, or New Years, if at all).

I for one have never eaten 'Ye Ol' Cattle Lung' and have no immediate plans to do so, well unless I somehow get Butt Drunk at an Otter Meet and mrpayroll SLIPS ME THE LUNG!

For the OtterVille Record:
-THEEK is a Non-Bibbler!

How much difference a state away makes.

We have the California burrito, but it's Carna Asada, French Fries, Sour Cream, Cheese, and Pica de Gallo. It's an orgasm wrapped in a shell. We also have Carna Asada fries, which is the same thing, minus the shell. That's the best drunk food period.

There is a burrito called the California at one of the *Roach Coaches in my area. I've never had it but that's what it's called.

My answer is either Taco Bell or one of the Roach Coaches.

*Roach Coach is what a guy I knew used to call those mobile taco stands. I thought it was pretty funny and it just kinda stuck. I personally don't care what they're called, those mobile taco stands have some pretty delicious food.

I thought roach coach was a standard slang term for those mobile Mexican stands. I've never eaten at one. They look too gross.

The California Burrito may be different in other parts of the state. I know the one I describe can only be found in San Diego and Sacramento. It originated down there and found it's way up here. I've tried ordering it in LA, Redding, and the Bay Area and no one knows what the hell it is.

Awesome at 2am and you're wasted.

Roach coach is a standard term for any mobile food trucks, not just ones that serve Mexican food.
