Re: Chocloate or White Milk

I drink white milk every day, mostly on cereal.

I drink chocolate milk maybe once a month. But I recognize that I'm being immature when I drink it. I even drink the whole glass with a spoon.

There's also Rice Milk.
I bought some "Silk" chocolate milk on the weekend. I love it, but my fiance doesn't like it at all
It definitely has a different taste to it, but I've noticed that dairy chocolate milk upsets my stomach (just a little. it's not unbearable), so this is a very nice alternative.

I'm going to give rice milk a try next... but it's never in the refrigerated section of grocery stores. I'm paranoid about my milk not being cold enough... and knowing it's sitting at room temperature all day kinda makes my stomach turn.

Cool! Tell her to try it again somewhere down the line. It may end up growing on her.

It's funny you bumped this because just last night I did something I NEVER did with Dairy milk; I bought a Silk Chocolate individual serving and drank it this morning while driving to work and it really hit the spot.

As far as refrigeration, from Silk's site www.silksoymilk.com

Just one more way Silk is improving our products. We’ve created a special shelf-stable container, called an aseptic container, which doesn’t require refrigeration until after it’s opened. You can find it on the grocery store shelves with other non-refrigerated beverages. Now you can keep delicious Silk Soymilk stock-piled in your kitchen in case of a soy-mergency. It’s available in several flavors.
