Favorite Mascot?

This may seem like an odd question (so it seemed prefect for Otter), but what is your favorite mascot(s). Could be sports-related or otherwise, I'm just look for responses.

Wasn't Otto the mascot well before they changed from Orangemen to Orange?

What was there mascot before Otto. Some guy in a William of Orange disguise? Yeah, I'm sure everyone could figure that one out.

What's interesting is that I didn't know that is what 'Orangemen' was based on. I always figured it was originally an Indian thing like 'Redmen' or 'Redskins.'

Got to like the Stanford mascot.. They are the Cardinal. Not Cardinals, like a bird, but Cardinal like a tree

That could be an interesting lawsuit. Phil Knight of Nike is a giant benefactor of the Univ of Oregon. He might take exception to a mascot change. Could turn into a Nike vs Disney lawsuit.

It would be if the U of O didn't already have an agreement with Disney to use it. I can't remember the exact terms but as long as it's not used outside the state (shirts, hats, etc), they can use it, which is why the school now is using the "O" on everything instead.
