yes. interesting how this place has got national and international exposure. they've been open for years. the day i went, they hadn't moved to their new location yet. they had a few hotties working and few chicks that were probably the "second string". the burgers were above average, but nothing spectacular.

Can you take the food and nurses home?

Well, it wasn't in Chandler up until about a year ago. It was in Tempe, on Kyrene and Warner, near the Tilted Kilt. I think it moved because of the Tilted Kilt.

I live a few miles from this place. I remember this being in the news a couple years ago. Suprised that people are still talking about it. I think that the last problem was with the [actual] nurses' board complaining about the restaurant's nurses.

The place isn't PACKED with fat people - like the CBS News report seems to put emphasis on. It's not like a place for obese people to meet.

The 8000 calorie burger suprised me. That's a pretty crazy number. I'm suprised that the reported could put that away. I don't know if I could finish that much.

I haven't been to the Chandler location yet.

When I started watching what I ate to lose weight I did some research on calorie and nutritional value of some of my places I like to eat. I think most people would be surprised at how easy it is to eat a 3,000 to 5,000 calories at a single meal. I agree 8,000 is just incredible. But it's not that much of a stretch if you think about what some do on a regular or somewhat regular basis.

A quick look and a Chilis Chipotle blue cheese bacon burger is over a 1,000 calories

A McDonalds double quarter pounder w/cheese is 740 (large frie is 570)

Pei Wei Mandarin Kung Pao Beef is 610

the nurses board threatened to sue them (which is when they started to get local and national publicity) because they thought people would believe the employees were real nurses.

My town, Cedar Rapids, Iowa, just got a Tilted Kilt. About 70% of the girls are tattooed from head-to-toe and it just doesn't work for me.

Hopefully they can start finding some better local talent.

Won't these nurses get in trouble for moonlighting in their uniforms? On the plus side, if you actually do have a heart attack, you'll have plenty of certified nurses around to help!

I'm not big on big hamburgers, but I do like hot nurses. Could I get a chicken sandwich?
