I changed my mind, now that Arby's have gyro's there's no excuse for every adult male to try one!

Hell, just make one at home. It's not quite the same without the lamb but I've made them with grilled chicken and they're great. Pita bread, really any meat of your choosing (big bonus if it's off a grill), tomato, onions, tzatziki, lettuce. Damn good and fairly healthy meal.

So wait, because Arby's has them, people don't need to try them? AM I READING THAT CORRECTLY, HITLER?

Oh and, Bacon Jerky is pretty good. Sure it isn't crispy, but the flavor is all there.

Oh.. and I did try bacon jerky once. Not a fan at all. bacon is supposed to be hot and crispy... not cold, limp and chewy.

Hey it was cheap and on a long road trip, and it tasted damn good at the time.

So what you're saying is Hitler was a man. A real man. Because ALL ADULT MEN HAVE HAD GYROS. Bitch.

I'm jumping in at an odd point here and don't know all the convo heading up to this, so I'm assuming this is a proper response.

It might have been the bag I had.. or just my expectations.. I probably would have thought it was ok if it was crispy.

For other jerky, if you ever see the Krave brand grab some. I know I've seen some of the flavors at Target.

https://www.kravejerky.com/

I haven't tried them all, but these ones have been very good

They sell those all over the place here, but only the really small bags.

Yeah, they are a little more pricy, but they taste so much better than any other jerky I've had. I don't buy them all the time, but every now and then I'll buy a bag to snack on for a few days at work. Plus the flavors are better than other brands where you might get plain, teriyaki, or maybe bbq.

I think I tried the chili lime one and didn't care for it. I like the Jack Links Jalapeno jerky myself.

And I guess jerky talk is ok since the thread does mention "other snacks"!

Yeah, most Jerky is a little pricey unless you buy it at Walmart. But the one I had before from Krave was pretty good.

Considering my subscription to Graze and my monthly Starbucks bill (office moved buildings, there's a Starbucks 10 ft away), I'm okay with the occasional expensive beef jerky.

Accent is on the second syllable.
I would advise everyone to learn how to pronounce it rather than ask the Greek gentleman behind the counter for the "white sauce" on your gyro.

I found the individual bags of these at Rite Aid for $1.49 a piece so I picked them all up.

Loved the wasabi and ginger one. Cappuccino one was pretty good, too. Mango salsa was alright, but I didn't care for the bacon mac & cheese one.

Pretty good. Subtle vinegar and pepper flavor.

I actually just came in here to post these. I wouldn't describe the flavor as "pepperoncini" in any way, but they are still really good.

Also really good:

Not so good, tastes like powdered Liquid Smoke:

Re: Potato chips and other snacks - reviewed

Ooh, I hadn't seen the Red Curry---will keep an eye out for those. The Sriracha didn't taste exactly like the sauce, but they were quite good as well, I thought.

The only misfire I've had from Kettle Chips was their Buffalo and Bleu Cheese. Maybe it's an East coast/West coast thing, but Buffalo sauce (or the hot sauce it's made from) is just peppers and vinegar--NO sugar. Their Buffalo flavor just tasted like spicy sweet BBQ flavor, which was wrong (unless that's what you're looking for.)

Re: Potato chips and other snacks - reviewed

Kettle Chips also has a new(er) Roasted Garlic flavor I have yet to try.

I think their (long discontinued) Red Chili will always be my favorite, though.

I like the "original" Poore Brothers Jalapeno Potato Chips. That is my favorite. Have not tried the Kettle Cooked Poore Brothers Jalapeno & Habanero chips yet.

Just bought the Peperroncini chips, whats the flavor supposed to be?
Bought the Kettle Bacon and Maple a few months back and didn't like them. Too sweet.

I like the flavor, but wish they weren't crinkle-cut.
