If Web Bot makes predictions based on web chatter...

If Web Bot makes predictions based on web chatter, how many posts would it take from us to get it to predict that the Flying Spaghetti Monster will attack a major US city in the spring of 2009?

Let's make it start with one... the Flying Spaghetti Monster will attack a major US city in the spring of 2009!

Let's get enough chatter on this to register with Web Bot!

OH! I get it!

All right then:

In the coming months, frustrated militant lesbians will honk and give dirty looks to everyone and they'll blame it publically and scathingly on the Flying Spaghetti Monster's lack of sexual attention!

I am very concerned about the Spring 2009 attack of the Spaghetti Monster. I wonder which US city will suffer?

I've been hearing about the Flying Spaghetti Monster's 2009 attack as well. I'm wondering if it will be Los Angeles. Moviemakers in Los Angeles are fond of making movies involving ninjas, who are of course the mortal energy of his noodly appendage's chosen people, the pirates.

Few people realize that Nostradamus himself prophesied the Flying Spaghetti Monster's arrival and devastation in 2009:

Great Italian noodles blot the sun
Balls of meat rain death from the skies
A red sauce boils screaming souls
Fizolli shakes in terror.

I've studied this for many years, and make no mistake: The reference to the Flying Spaghetti Monster and his meatball/sauce attacks are clear. And Fizolli is obviously a near-hit on "Fazoli's," the chain of Italian restaurants.

God help us.

Not knowing how the Web Bot gleans chatter, would references to the Flying Spaghetti Monster need to be in other threads? I can't imagine mentioning the Flying Spaghetti Monster 700 billion times in one thread as being as effective as mentioning the Flying Spaghetti Monster in every thread on every forum possible.

Neat idea! No doubt the Flying Spaghetti Monster approves too!

I think we'd have to get the word out about the 2009 attack of the flying spaghetti monster in other forums as well.

However, what if that thing weeds out such attempts by discarding anything associated with a reference to itself? In that case maybe the thread title should be changed, or we could help by mentioning the 2009 attack of the flying spaghetti monster twice in each post.

Oh, but wait!

If we're going to do this, we should make it be something unique to Otter, like "The Giant DVD-eating Otter" or something like that... I've seen the Flying spaghetti monster mentioned on lots of sites already... I think this is a great idea though...

Supposedly the Flying Spaghetti Monster was behind hurricane Katrine and recent miss Gustav. Now, in 2009, Flying Spaghetti Monster is going to show Himself and personally destroy New Orleans once and for all.

That sounds like a good PR move for Otters everwhere and for one reason or another, I like it!

Heck, I didn't even GET the 'FSM' angle of this thread until today, and thus updated my original post to accommodate and not directly impede the creative flow or confuse our dear web spiders in any way.

i'll be impregnating the flying spaghetti monster sometime in 2009.

2010 will have to prepare for the hundreds - if not thousands - of flying spaghetti babies.
