What's your unpopular opinion?

We spend too much education money on "special needs" kids that will never be able to hold a burger flipping job after 13 years of school and hundreds of thousand of dollars. I know their parents love them and want the best for them, but that money should go for funding of general education.

There, I said it. That is not popular, but I believe it. What is your unpopular opinion?

That we should stop sending money everywhere in the world and use it here to help our own.

Yes, I agree with you. When I went HS I took a trade (lithographic printing and hanging around the racetrack). It seems now every kid is pointed to college.

That the English Premier League (or any variety of footie) is so far beyond the NFL in quality and history, that I can't believe that people actually watch American footb-, oops I mean American throwball.

When there's a group spiritual thing, it may be Church, or Circle, or a Soul Dance, I don't think there is any need to "send healing energy to the world" or something like that.

Let them gather their own healing energy, dammit. I'm doing this for people I know. I don't pray for vague benefits for unknown "people suffering overseas".

...hmm... I feel a rant coming on... to the blog!

I also think that artists should not be allowed to frame their own work.

We should start shooting Mexicans when they illegally cross the border.

How else are they going to learn?

Death row inmates should receive one appeal within six months of sentencing. If their sentence is not overturned they should be executed within 24 hours and their organs should be donated. Belonging to a gang and/or tagging should be a capital offence.

Sending food to starving countries when we have our own starving people is an absolute shame, unless it's for a short period due to a tragedy.

My unpopular opinion is that this thread is indeed quite useful, despite the lack of pics.

Totally agree, in fact I've been on a massive Joy Division kick lately!
