So if we're reliving the 80's right now, what the hell are people going to be dressing like when we get to the 90's? Plaid flannel shirts?

The latest fashion revival is late 80's, early 90's, especially when it comes to hip-hop. I've been seeing a few hints of it here and there: kids dressed like extras from a 3rd Bass video, rappers bringing out songs that sounded 15-20 years old ("Blue Magic" by Jay-Z, <a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9WdAdM7RnL8">"Aunt Jackie"</a> by Jason Fox), a friend of a friend starting a fashion company seemingly devoted to only bringing back that era in fashion.

Trends repeat themselves in vague 20-year cycles. Over the next few years expect to see a lot of "trends" from 1988 to 1992 around. I only wish I still had my day-glo surfing t-shirts from 1989. Does Ocean Pacific even exist anymore?

Just wait until the early 2020s and the big ironic trucker hat revival.

Can't wait! I was behind the times on that trend, and now have a whole closet stockpiled.

Damn, I was 5 years too early when it came to the Wayfarers. I was rockin' those things big time in late '03 and most of '04!

Neon fannypacks? Ugh...

The Lakers and Celtics have been around long before REM and New Kids.

Wayfarers never go out of style, I have had a couple of pairs for over 20 years.

To be fair this is a fairly old song by "The Cool Kids." Not too old but old by Rap standards. Good song to, I cant wait to catch their track with Lil' Wayne.

I just saw something about British Knights (BK) putting out shoes again.

I'm still waiting for B.U.M. sweatshirts to hit the racks.
