Is eHarmony/Match/Yahoo free in any way?

Im very bored today and kinda antsy about meeting new people. I dont really have a problem in the real world but thought Id give this a shot any way.

I was checking out match and it mentioned free, but it started asking me to fill out all this crap and Im wondering if its worth it if they dont let me email someone anyway. I tried yahoo and I have to be approved, than I have to pay to actually email or something. Anyway its all kinda stupid and I dont want to have to pay to meet people as Im not that desperate to meet new people.

Yes, with match you can't read email unless you pay which makes it pretty useless with free. Yahoo allows you to read emails and know who is responding to you but then you can't reply with an email (only pre-written trite responses) unless you pay. Free Yahoo is better there but not by much. If you join Yahoo, it costs a lot more though.

You can also try craigslist. They have a "strictly plutonic" section if you just wanna find someone to hang out with and not have to worry about the whole "dating" thing.

I don't think I'm ready to date someone who's radioactive.

Match has a free 3-day trial that lets you do anything. You can also browse and wink for free.

Wait until someone you're interested in winks back, activate the free 3-day trial, trade real e-mail addresses, ..., profit!

Well maybe I am

Yea I stumbled on that cupid while surfing. I may give it a shot. I had no idea about the craigs list. I thought it was for pervs and stuff. I checked out the yahoo and you can icebreak for free, but have to pay to reply or something. Yahoo was pretty cheap I thought. About half of what the big leagues charge.

Thats an idea Doom, Ill shoot for that just for shits and giggles.
