Please vote for my startup company :)

I've been working on a startup company for a while now and its (finally!) hitting the public in beta. The site killerstartups track some measure of popularity on startup companies - if you have a moment to click and even better get some friends to do it, much appreciated!!

http://www.killerstartups.com/Mobile...al-Networking/

We also made pc / mac world coverage at the web 2.0 expo (for like 10 seconds lol):

http://www.pcworld.com/video/id,784-...d,0/video.html

Its a social network targeted for texting users.. so you can create polls / votes for groups of friends, classmates and such like on american idol etc. You can also make texting chatrooms, rss feeds, joke-of-the-day etc.

Free to signup and use of course. If you want to check it out, its on jygy.com. You can also just add the JYGY application on facebook. Its still beta and a bit rough in a few places but works pretty well already. (US phones only for now, sorry)

And this is why Internet based polls are useless. Too much ballot-box stuffing.

Fuck it, I voted for you anyway.

I seriously doubt it will "help with investors," but whatever.

Free advice, though: It would really help if you picked a company name that people would know how to pronounce. "JYGY" doesn't cut it.

Keep 'em coming.. if we can get JYGY to #2 this month (or nr 1, but thats 3k votes!)... that would be huge! Thanks for helping out

Thank you for free advice. Well it goes into our general portfolio for this kind of stuff. We actually already have lined up some interest on sand hill road among the better names there and done our angel round, so the basis is there..

JYGY is pronounced 'jiggy'. Its the days of unsayable web 2.0 dotcom names

If anyone is interested - I'll draw a couple of names from anyone that posts in here (and who wants it..) and send a 'JYGY care package'.. random t-shirt, pen, buttons etc swag.

Is this really a trend? I had about 4-5 guesses on how to pronounce it, and 'jiggy' wasn't even one of them.
