My mom tells me the same stuff over and over and is pretty horrible at hooking up a dvd player nevermind surfing the web. She's only 55, god-willing 20+ more years of this crap.

Hey parents, you chose to have me in your life, I didn't. Get back to the nursing home.

I watched about 30 seconds of it and couldn't watch anymore. Who produces this kind of absurd shit? This and re-enacted bible stories.

I'm with Trigger. I love my parents and would do anything for them, but please don't send me this pap.

Wow! I didn't expect this to be "Brought to you by the Menendez Foundation" but that's what it says at the end!

I'm not even going there, my parents are visiting me this weekend and are driving me nuts. This morning, they got out their little daily pill dispenser. I then heard them discussing whether they had taken this pill or that pill, so I walked over and said "Don't you just put them in the dispenser and then take all the pills for the current day?" And they looked at me like I was nuts and said "Well, they won't all fit, and we lose track of which pills we put in and which we didn't." So I ask "Why not just get a second container?" And they start acting like I'd just suggested buying a summer home in the Riviera. "Oh, no, we're fine with this, there's no need for two of these, we make do just fine." So I'm going to stop tonight and get one for them, and they're going to be pissed off at me for wasting the money.

They leave in the morning. I love them, but more from a distance.

and by powerful, you mean incredibly schmaltzy and hilariously overwrought, right?

I love the "MUST be viewed with speakers on" at the bottom. as if that horrible song makes it better

Watched about 20 seconds, then decided to dismiss it as one of those things with a loud scream when you're not expecting it.

My folks are just the opposite. They ignore me. I visit them on their birthdays and holidays, but they act like I'm not even there. Every year I go to their place and plant flowers, I even go back and water and weed them weekly, and I never once have gotten a thank you from them for doing that.

Did I forget to mention that my folks have been dead for years?

(I loved them dearly, but I did inherit my sense of humor. They would have approved of this message.)
