When was the last time you RAN?

Joggers welcome to answer too , but I don't really mean running for exercise or recreation.

I mean running TO something, or AWAY from something. Or just running for no reason.

I was thinking about this today. I really can't remember the last time I ran. Weird.

Does running during a game of Ultimate count? I was running to a disc.

I ran to the building at work today because I was late.

Yesterday I ran away from my gf at Disneyland just to fuck with her.

Soccer- every Thursday. Chasing my Labrador- pretty much daily.

Jogging? Once a year, my wife makes me go with her on her birthday.

On Monday I ran down the hall to check on my in-laws' water heater to see if the right fuse had been tripped. It was exhausting. I hope I never have to do that again.

Yesterday, sprinted to the car from the gym. For no reason.

Consistently? Last Thursday, during volleyball.

As an activity? I run up some hills every few weeks/months. Running without a point is boring.

Just pretend you are running to cure cancer or something. You could even wear a number!

Everytime a little shitbag doesn't want to go to jail for whatever he's doing wrong. I HATE foot pursuits. I hate running in the first place, but to run with a duty belt, work boots, polyester pants, and a vest on? Not fun.

Doesn't count: I ran three miles this morning (just "to run").

Does count: One night last week, after I put the garbage out, I ran back up the driveway (it was a chilly night and I wasn't really dressed for going out, and it's a long driveway-- 40 yards or so).

I don't like to run, but somebody talked me into a "half marathon" this weekend. A full one is something like 5 kilometers, and that seemed far -- so I'll try this one first. I'll need to drop by Payless and get some running shoes before the race too.

Do the rest of the Village People share this sentiment?

I honestly don't remember the last time I ran. I've completely dived into the art of speed walking, making sure to obey all the laws of the Speed Walking Federation. I'm already an Orange Shoe, and hope to reach Yellow Shoe by Fall. As a result, methinks my running days are all behind me.

Not sure if you are joking or serious.

about both distance and shoes.

I ran about two hours ago at work, down a hallway. I often burst into a sprint for no good reason. And I'm 41. I think I'm the only one over 25 that I've ever seen run for anything other than sports or exercise.
