I'm starting to believe in astrology...

I use to think it was a bunch of garbage but the more I read about some of the signs and match them with my family as well as past relationships I'm thinking their really might be something to it. Thoughts?

When I read the astrology column in the paper, I read all the signs and chose the fortune that I like best.

The great thing about them is that well-written astrological prognostications apply to everyone.

Today, you will meet someone new. Keep your mind open, as that person may make you think differently and question new things. You may be in a difficult situation at work today, for someone else appears to hold the key to your success. Your lucky numbers are 12 21 13 62 9

That's the key. Especially when people want to believe, they will certainly find it applies to them.

Scientific studies have debunked this stuff many times over.

And you would know this.... how exactly?

Your comments are just as much an expression of your opinion that someone else could make the same statement about religion.

I'm not into astrology myself, but I certainly wouldn't want to defend the position that it's not "intellectually stimulating," since I have no experience with it. I assume that you have little or no practical experience with it either, but you also seem to have no problem stating your opinion as fact.

Doesn't religion count on the close mindedness of it's followers?

yeah because the only way i could be exposed to religion is through tv. not through all the people i have met in real life or my dad who was brain washed and completely changed by the bullshit the bible fed him.

so tell me what great contributions have christianity made in the us?
