Weirdest thing you ever found in your food...

A friend was telling me when he was younger his mother found a tooth in her clam chowder when they were out to eat and it just made my stomach churn.

Thus far I found a long piece of hair in a sandwich and a staple in some rice. I do recall my dad finding a beer bottle cap in a bowl of chili once though.

Maggots in a box of Raisin Bran. It would take years before I ever had it again. Even now, I don't buy Kellogg's Raisin Bran.

Rubber band in my Pad Thai. I didn't see it until I chewed on it and pulled it out.

Probably hair. I never find anything too odd. Now, if someone could check the contents of everything I've eaten and determine what was inside, I'm sure there's got to be something that would make me hurl.

A piece of clear plastic bag cooked into a McDonald's chicken sandwich. That's the most recent "weird" thing, at least (about 2 yrs ago).

A spider, complete with web, inside of my whistle pop back when I was 8. I've had a huge fear of spiders ever since.

I bit into what appeared to be a plastic twist tie in an Entenmann's Danish Ring once. It appeared to be more a fluke than food tampering, since it wasn't melted, dirty, or had any sharp edges. I ate the rest without incident or bothering to report it.

Another time I found moths living inside a pepper shaker. They were flying around and such. I think the larva or cocoons were living inside before they matured.

One of my roommates in college bought a box of Rasin Brain, opened it up and.... no raisins. Not a one.

It was probably the oddest thing I've seen missing from a package of food.

A 2 inch long piece of metal in my chicken cordon blu sandwich at Bennigans. It was like a straightened out paper clip stuck right inside the chicken breast. Got a free meal and a $20 gift card from the manager.

Also not as deadly but kinda cool. I found an empty can of Diet Mt Dew in a twelve pack box. It was sealed and everthing just full of air.

I always had a fear of finding a spider in my food as a kid. Glad to know it was justified.

I once found a fingernail in a pancake at a firefighter pancake breakfast.

When I was in elementary school I walked into class first thing in the morning and my teacher comes up to me and asks to see my lunch.

I was freaking out because I put a bunch of halloween candy in there, but she opened it up and took out the box raisins and put my lunch on the shelf.

Apparently my Mom opened her box at work and found worms or something in there and had called the school.

I was freaking out because I thought my teacher "sensed" I was bringing in candy.
This was a long time ago, before skittles were a banned substance.

Pubes and broken glass.

Not in the same item or at the same time, but coincidentally both items were from Taco Bell.

Keep a lot of food at work, as we do 12 hour shifts. One night I poured myself a bowl of Lucky Charms. Someone had removed all the charms, I just had a bowl of luckies. Luckies aren't very good without the charms.

Later I heard the story from the guys that did it. They had done it like two weeks previously and were patiently waiting for me to get to the box.

Perhaps the best practical joke played on me ever.

When I was probably 10 or so we were up near Yosemite having breakfast in a restaurant. I was drinking hot chocolate and felt something solid in my mouth. I pulled it out and it was half ofa meal worm.
