Today has been one news day (3/6/08)

It seems like every single news story has involved a murder or some other horrible act.

Two college students murdered at two different schools, one of which was the SBP.

Times Square bombing.

A HS student killed himself in front of a gym full of people (at least he didn't take others with him).

Another college student was found making pipe bombs in his dormroom.

And it's only 2:30

Anything I'm missing?

Auburn and UNC-Chapel Hill.
I'm wondering if there is some sort of link between the two?
So, so sad.

The girl who was killed at UNC was their student body president, that's really going to be a big blow to the school.

Also, a Syrian man decapitated a 15-month old baby in front of his mother to get back at her for an arguement.

Does the fun ever stop?

Yeah, as an Auburn grad and living in Atlanta (where Burk was from), I'm probably finding this news more sad than I might otherwise. Such a waste. The girl in NC had such a promising life ahead of her and from all accounts was a pretty damn good person.
